The Rycote Chapel Charter

7 August 1550

A patent of 7 August 4 Edw. VI [1550] unto Sir John Williams, knight, and the inhabitants of Thame and Rycote in Oxfordshire for a priest to celebrate the divine service in the chapel of Thame in assistance to the vicar there, as also another priest in the chapel of Rycote for the benefit of the inhabitants of Rycote. The charter also grants to Williams the Guild of St. Christopher in Thame.
